I'm really indecisive about how I'm going to get to canberra this christmas. Really want to avoid plane in case I get close contacted and have to spend the week quarantined, not to mention then making my parents secondary close contacts. Casual contact wouldn't be as bad and there's a high chance no case will be there. But it still feels like a gamble.

I don't own a car and renting is going to be $600 on the dates. Considering buying but used are still expensive and the timing is probably way too rushed. Plus it's a long boring drive.

Which leaves train or bus, which I hate the length of and are probably as much of a gamble as the plane whether someone sick gets onboard.
