I don't know if this is true, but I find that Australians tend to be very laid back and relaxed. People often have an attitude that things will fix itself and I'd like to think not super judgemental about other people. Like the living embodiment of 'yeah whatever'.

Maybe this means that it's easier to hook up with Australians. I've never tried to hook up with a non-Australian before, but hearing about problems with dating cultures in other countries - we just don't see that here. One thing that I found was that a lot of Americans seem to have trouble getting dates when they're short as a guy, but there's a lot of short guys here in relationships.
