It’s a start!

A lot of IKEA things are REALLY cheap, but the stuff like the drawers you have a good examples of their better quality stuff. Even though it's still all fiberboard. I shopped there when I lived in CA and furnished an entire studio (for the most part, Amazon for other things, and local stores like wal-mart for the simple stuff) for less than 1k. Granted, my focal point was my "battlestation" and not a couch or TV living area, but I ended up with their MALM lineup for my dresser and desk, then lamps, rugs, bathroom and kitchen stuff, and a closet organizer. Now I live in Montana, and they want $400 for shipping... so in that case, IKEA is TERRIBLE and I am pretty much boycotting them. No legit reason to charge so much for shipping, and their online shopping is equally as bad. Horrible website, horrible shipping and tracking, and horrible customer service. If you live close to one, you are lucky, but that is literally the only thing IKEA gets right, and they are not exactly expanding on a wal-mart scale either.
