When I first got into the industry, I was in an arts high school and (alongside working my paid engineering job) worked at my high school as an engineer, as well. We had a theater tech class to teach the incoming theatre students the basics of tech and I was assisting the teacher on the audio side of things. As I tried to teach these kids the over-under, they'd keep doing elbow wrap. One of them did it almost just to make me angry and I got so fed up that I slapped him. The teacher freaked out and asked what was going on so I explained my side and she said to him and the rest of the students "If you elbow wrap, he's only going to slap you again."
