Morning UK Fish Thoughts:

So I know Charlie's work from the UK, her stuff is all very meticuously scripted and she does not do improvisation, it's not her thing. Her Youtube videos and her work on Big Brother are all pretty much fully under her control, and you could see that uncomfortableness in this challenge.

The lipsync, Trinity was amazing, she brought the energy for both of them. Charlie gave up, she said it in her talking head, and while it's true that in the UK lipsyncing isn't a thing (Drag shows were/are mostly comedy, skits, impersonations and live singing/cabaret) it is getting way more popular to do that pretty much thanks to Ru Pauls Drag Race. I still can't accept that performance from Charlie though, you know what show you're going onto and you know lipsyncing is a huge part of it. You gotta at least try. Anyway, very disappointed.

Sasha vs Eureka: I've not seen any other comments on this yet so I don't know what the subreddit opinion is or whether I'm going against the opinion or not, but I think both of them were in the wrong. More so Eureka but I think Sasha was a bit overbearing.

Eurekas joke wasn't funny, was offensive, seemed to be rooted in her own issues. It was too much. As for Sasha, she seems like the morality police and generally a killjoy. Could you imagine Sasha at a comedy roast? She'd be offended to hell and back, and it's weird for a drag queen. I dunno, it's an edited reality TV show, and things like this are very easy to portray one sidedly.

Speaking of editing, I can't seem to shake the feeling that they edited Nina crying strangely. I can't believe it was a case of "Hello Nina" and then Nina starts crying, it seems way more likely she was expecting bad criticism and then got a compliment and then started crying out of relief.

Sasha and Shea totally deserved their win, I thought they did great. I'm kinda happy Eureka did well, because Trinity WAS being totally a dictator, I have a feeling Eureka isn't well liked here, but she was right. They singled her out because she's loud and has ideas, but thank god she did otherwise that team would have failed completely.

I don't get the Cucu thing, I don't think she was that funny? Funnier than Charlie, sure, but Intolerence Lactose isn't...funny? Also I think the tips Charlie gave in the workroom to Cynthia were right, especially about the laughing and "oh charlie" after that line, it would have been weird, and we saw it with Trinity and her laugh how they edited her. I guess I'm not on the good ship cucu yet.
