[S3E8] For The Haunting Woodsmen Scene, David Lynch Severely Slowed Down Beethoven's “Moonlight Sonata”

of course i didn't know it was moonlight sonata until i read this! part of my reaction to it is how it goes off like a gun near your ear when you realize it.

and the effect of the sequence isn't what i was commenting on, as i hope my above post makes clear. as for this episode, i didn't really care for it but personally consider it (far and away) the strongest episode of the new series. and as much as people are tired of the negativity about this or that, those among us who have anything critical to say, no matter how thoughtfully we may say it, are tired of this dismissiveness and meanness of the fans. i am watching twin peaks because i love david lynch and i love the original series. unfortunately, i am having a bad time with it. sometimes i want to share that, i suppose against my better judgements, because no one wants to hear it.

obviously "lol 16 year olds" wasn't the most sophisticated post, and i appreciate that. i'll try to both parts clearer and more tempered while posting in the future. but, truly there is a large resistance to reject even the most apparent or anodyne observations, so long as they have any hint of negativity. it's a frustration i admit to holding.
