Ok. Here goes nothing.

My partner and I both have the s9, have since they came out.

As of about 6 months ago, our phones started not being able to send gifs in the messaging app to one another if we were on wifi. Turn wifi off and retry, gif sends immediately.

Only between the two of us, everyone else is fine.

Then it starts not sending picture messages on wifi. Have to turn wifi off to send.

I tried a factory reset, but did not solve this.

When phone was setting back up, it had a problem when bringing in mu old texts, kept saying "something app has error", I dont remember exactly what the name of the app, but it was letters and numbers and I assume it was the messaging app.

Now when we send pics or gifs on data, it will randomly pic a really old text from our thread and send it right before the picture.

Anyone experience any of this? I know it's not a very clear explanation but damn this is frustrating
