SA Police Commissioner has approved an exemption for those who are attending tomorrow's protest

And your question has been answered a bunch of times. You’re obviously not looking for an answer.

At any rate, if you don’t get the “point” of protests then you should get off Reddit and read a history book.

Protesters acknowledge that individually they can make little difference but united we can. That’s why it’s called COLLECTIVE action.

If every single suffragette had decided their contribution was too small, women wouldn’t have the vote. If every single person involved in the civil rights movement in the 60s had decided they alone were too weak then Jim Crow laws wouldn’t have ended. If every single worker and trade unionist had decided their contribution was too small we wouldn’t have the 8 hour work day.

The point is yes, on an individual level we don’t make much difference. But on a global collective level we can, have and will.
