Sahajanand Swami, any history professors have any ideas on what really happened?

Hey dude. I'm a devotee of Sahajanand Swami so maybe I could answer some of your questions.

Firstly, I don't think much importance should be placed on these "miracles" that occurred. Every single religion/sect has stories of these miraculous activities so it isn't a unique phenomenon. Whether it happens or not isn't important in the long run (Hell I wouldn't be surprised if there were miracle stories made up about Sahajanand Swami as I'm sure this occurs in all religions. Indians tend to exaggerate a lot lol.)

What's important in terms of how these religion impacts me and you is that we learn how to better ourselves through the examples of our gods/gurus/other devotees/etc...

And finally I doubt you will receive a concrete answer to this question because skepticism is natural and common in our world. You will people who accept these supernatural stories and those who reject them. Important being is that it's better to ground your belief in philosophy and the actions (Displaying Dharma, being compassionate, showing love, detachment, etc...) of whomever you choose to believe in rather than miracle stories.
