SAHPs: What, if anything, do you do to contribute financially?

Two-fold: I save us money every where I can. I make our meals from scratch and try to stream line my pantry/ingredients wherever possible (for example, I put plain yogurt on things I would want sour cream on since yogurt is more versatile and we'll actually go through a container). We use things to the last drop, from toothpaste to baby lotion to hair conditioner. We buy second hand whenever reasonable and possible. We keep the HVAC off of possible (but we strongly value our comfort, so we do this at our convenience).

I work on my husband's two days off in the evenings, and throughout the week, I clean a family friend's house. Currently, I'm also doing dog training lessons with a neighbor, but I'm not interested in making that my full-time income. My side hustles are cool specifically because my baby can come with and my time is flexible (sometimes I divide my house cleaning over two days). Before I had a kid, I've also done nail art for people, so this is still something I would do, but again, I'm not trying to make it a full time thing. My husband also will participate in the occasional focus group; my FIL got him into it! He's the ultimate in side-hustles!
