Sakura doing her medical thing?

Haha, I'm a huge Kakasaku fan, but House Calls is one of my least favorite of the popular stories in that fandom. It's got my biggest pet peeve, which is the whole "Sakura takes care of her boys and is the sole female who takes care of them all and gets to be the token girl" thing that happens sometimes in the Hermione-centric HP fics too. I see the phrase "her boys" and I get TRIGGERED.

Now that I think about it, I don't see a whole lot of "Sakura is a medic and does stuff" fluff around. The closest thing that came to mind was Gravity but that's a Sasuke/Sakura. Um, there used to be a story called Fourteen Dates that I vaguely remember being like that (I think Kakashi was in a coma and Sakura was working at the hospital during the first part) that I really liked, but the author (Tintinnabula?) took it down. I think copies of it are floating around online in the community somewhere.

As far as new stuff goes! Puppy love is a newer AU slice-of-life sort of story that I'd rec. Sakura's a medical student and if you're okay with AUs that might fit the bill. Better Man is a post epilogue Kakasaku that is kinda sorta slice of life romance? But it doesn't focus much on Sakura's work.
