This is an unpopular opinion but in a way, I agree with the violent side of BLM. They just need to do it differently. They need to stop burning down their own neighborhoods, attacking random white people, etc, and take their fight to the police station and other government buildings. Peaceful protests don't get anyone anything. People can say it's stupid all they want, but police in this country have been abusing their power for far too long. We need to end this almost complete immunity for cops who murder people. We need to close down private prisons, and actually end arrest quotas. Not just say they're "unethical". If BLM went and burned down a police department who found a murdering cop "not guilty" I wouldn't say there's anything wrong with that. And as obviously racist as the All Lives Matter movement is, I think BLM need to adopt that table instead and bring whites, Asians, etc into the fight. Because it's not just black people being abused by cops. If you're poor in this country, there's a very slim chance you don't have a story about a cop harassing you. And you got off easy. You're lucky they didn't fucking murder you. Blacks aren't disproportionately affected because they're black. It's because poor blacks tend to live in the city where as poor whites tend to live in poorer suburbs or in the country. Poor blacks are just easy pickings for unethical cops.
