Salaried men in corporate jobs, how much overtime are you working each week?

If that means you’ll willingly put in 50-60 hour week, they will absolutely take that and ask for more.

I’m at this now. Corporate wants to know why I cannot meet the levels of productivity that was achieved last year. I’m regaining the time for myself. By choice, I spent about 10 months straight averaging around 70 hours a week making sure a number of industrial chemical and food producers didn’t shut down amidst a growing supply crisis. I spent weekends and nights working with manufacturing production schedulers and contract fillers to make sure their timelines aligned with delivery of raw materials, production demand, and target delivery dates. I had no time for myself. I worked, ate, showered, slept. I’m fairly certain I was a lifeline to a number of businesses, but I’m just one person and they had the time and the tools handed to them to adjust their operations to keep going. It’s on them now.
