Sali Swiss Redditors! How do you feel about investing?

I am a real customer ("early adopter") of Selma Finance and invested real money in them. I am neither endorsed nor sponsored by Selma Finance.

While it is true that I could have educated myself about financial investments (which I do), typical advice I get is something along the lines of to "diversify well" and "choose appropriate risk". Suppose I manage my own portfolio, then over the years/decades small mistakes in the investment parameters could compound themselves into bigger ones by the law of exponentiation.

So my hope is to get advice from an expert in the matter. Rather than going to a bank for this (typically costly) advice, I am experimenting with a startup like Selma Finance that tries to automate many tasks along the way (such as determininig my risk profile using the automated chat) and therefore tries hard to keep the costs low. While I'm unsure about how much of Selma is really done via "robo-advisory" (i.e. in an automated way) and how much is tweaked manually behind the scenes, I like the direction they are taking.

What I hope is that they will introduce a tiered pricing structure at some point (more investment volume = lower fees). But I guess at the moment it's all about startup growth and keeping the service simple.
