That's a tad hyperbolic. "Huge chunks of the left" is a ridiculous statement because the average person has no idea who Sam Harris is. I doubt even half "the so-called left" would know who he is. With the exception of Joe Rogan most of these guys just aren't as mainstream as they seem when you frequent a sub like this. There may be a small segment who feel the way you've described, but most of Sam's critics are just disappointed in some of his behavior or genuinely disagree with him. It doesn't mean they're all slandering him. Chill out, just cause online echo chambers amplify the garbage doesn't mean there's some army on the left out to get Sam.
