How do you have honest conversations with folks who genuinely believe that any Trump voter is by default a racist bigot, and explain to them that this is not the case for many, and the individual who holds these “basket of deplorables” view is problematic themselves?

How do you coax the closet Trump voters out to talk about why they voted the way they did? How do you have honest conversations about reconsidering in 2020. How do you circle the square of intellectually understanding why UBI is a good idea with the visceral reactions many get when it being suggested? Can’t tell you how upset many educated liberal friends are down right appalled by the UBI concept.
