Same Sex Marriage And Abortion To Become Legal In Northern Ireland At Midnight...finally

More like well done UK. The NI Assembly (Stormont) has been suspended for over 1000 days after Cash For Ash scandal and the controversy over the Irish Language Act. This was an attempt by the UK government to get the NI parties back together as the DUP (who are notoriously fundamentalist) oppose both abortion and same-sex marriage. The UK government essentially said they had until midnight tonight (21st Oct.) to get Stormont up and running or they'll institute direct rule and bring abortion and same-sex marriage into law. They failed to do that, so the UK government legalised them.
