Samsung to permanently end production of Galaxy Note 7 phone

You can't innovate without making changes, and those changes occasionally don't work out.

The phone space moves very quickly and they slapped some new tech in there and it didn't work out. They tried to fix the issue and it didn't fix the issue. Product testing a replacement during a recall must have been hastily rushed - but if they were slow about it, people would still complain.

They tried to quickly fix the issue and failed so they are halting production.

All of it seems reasonable to me.

The Note is the best line hands down - has been for quite some time since the first generation note.

I have an S7 edge currently - wanted so badly to hold out for the Note 7, but it looks like I dodged a bullet.

Also, call me superstitious, but I think that trying to skip "6" (unlucky) by calling it "7" (lucky) brought them some bad luck.

Kidding about that last part, but seriously I have nothing bad mad respect for the samsung line of phones. They're simply amazing.

Sorry that their battery tech didn't work out, but I will absolutely be getting the next note that comes out because they're awesome.
