I can buy an iPhone XR ($749) and an iPad ($329) and now I have two devices to share that can be separated completely. Are these folding phones going to ever be able to beat that price? (And that’s expensive Apple stuff, imagine comparing this to a OnePlus at $529 and some sort of tablet at $200 or so).

Combination devices are nice but they’re not really more useful than just having two devices. I didn’t stop owning a computer just because I own a phone.

Tablets are purchased for an entirely different use than phones.

I just think products like this are thinking about technology more than they’re thinking about people.
