Yeah, that book didn’t predict the internet / gaming but it did predict bigger and bigger tvs, garbage reality / talk shows, and digital isolation. The protagonist’s wife hardly ever spoke to him because she watched tv or listened to headphones with music or radio all day and night.

Even more scary it predicted the disinformation age, people just being fed false information to keep power over the people. Book burning because the past was considered harmful or hateful. Ignoring history and current events all the way up until destruction.

We have seen this coming for decades or longer, as great as technology is for being informed its just as quick to be used by evil to misinform.
