And before I get flamed about saying an iPhone is worth the price, just think about it. If you use your phone for work, school, social life, and anything else, just consider how much value you get out of that. Personally, I don't think $1000 or even really $1500 is unreasonable for a device that will last for 4 or 5 years

You get almost the same value out of a perfectly good smartphone at half the price. I have a €300 Nokia 8 and the battery lasts 2-3 days, performance is more than enough for any purpose (SD835), ample storage and a decent camera. Why would I buy a €1200 XS instead?

It's like saying a car is very valuable for work, school and social life so therefore you have to buy a Mercedes.
