You're wrong about the second part. I have asthma and a parent who smokes, I guarantee that cigarette smoke is worse shit than someone's bbq. Cigarette smoke stings my throat and makes breathing very hard for me and the smell permeates everything. I can't stand the fact that my clothes reek of cigarettes and there's nothing I can do about it. The forest fires have to get pretty bad to affect me, and they did this year in CO but it was definitely a larger volume of smoke. A dinky little campfire doesn't compare.

A person shouldn't have to put on noise cancelling headphones in their own home to block out their neighbor's obnoxious music, they shouldn't have to wear a face covering in their own home to block out their neighbor's obnoxius smoke either.
