San Francisco, San Mateo, Alameda, Santa Clara, Contra Costa, Marin and Sonoma: Mask Mandate

Maybe not perfectly protected

That's right. And the people who aren't perfectly protected are concentrated in certain high-risk groups. So do this small thing that has no impact on you to protect those people.

Also, death is not the only effect of covid. Prevent people from getting sick, prevent the spread of the disease, and prevent the possibility that there could be mutations into a more deadly variant. It's that fucking simple dude.

Why should we make any sacrifices for them? They made their choice; fuck 'em if they get sick. They knew the risks.

Come on with the edgy bullshit man.

And that was before we had the vaccine. Things are different now. Will you acknowledge that or are you going to deny reality instead?

The pandemic is not over. Don't pussy out in the last quarter mile. Look, my mom has a retail shop, she's elderly, but vaccinated. She still asks people to wear masks and every day she has entitled people walking in and ignoring the requests and it pisses me off. At the very least, respect the wishes of individual shop owners. You don't know their situation or their medical conditions or their level of concern over this virus. It's a simple matter of respect.
