I’m not dismissing anything I don’t like. I called Chris Matthews a curmudgeon that night and stand by it. (His real hate was for being in Iowa I think). Lots of moments in debates are unfair because they are sadly made for ratings at this point.

All of these facts can exist and operate independently from a huge conspiracy theory with individuals actively sabotaging from within.

Iowa boils down to too much reliance on an undertested app without realizing Precinct Captains are legacy and many OLD. They couldn’t figure it out, just like I wouldn’t trust my dad to run a digital marketing campaign. Plus there was no backup plan. It was pure incompetence and that sucks for Bernie.

But the fringe folks have come out and are getting buy in. I was (am?) a Bernie guy (leaning Liz now because of the crazies) but you can’t fault me for being gun shy with a candidate that has supporters that shout down dissenters.
