Sanders Takes Lead in Early Primary States—He's Now Stronger Than He Was in 2016

He's in a significantly better spot. He was -17 nationally at this point. Now he's at -9. Obama was at -11 in 2008.

It's still an uphill battle, but it's one we can win if we all pull together as a team. A double win in IA and NH makes a NV win more likely, and a sweep of the first three changes everything.

As far as SC goes, Moral Mondays up in NC have really changed the game. The work of Rev. Dr. Barber has been huge. If you're not aware, check out the Poor People's Campaign, and save the date for the June 20th March on Washington. The demands of the campaign include M4A. It's designed to be the first poor people's campaign in 50 years, modeled after MLK Jr.

There's a whole different level of mobilization happening right now than there was in 2016. We've got a shot at this.
