[Sanity Sunday] Your fat acceptance movement is complete bullshit.

This lie is worse than much of the others. If you're so fucking healthy, why haven't you lost weight yet? You're probably overlooking something like I did when I was 113 kg (250 lbs). The problem is probably lurking right under your nose, in the sugar water you drink. Beer and soda are the worst culprits, but for me it was Gatorade. I rarely drink the stuff now, but my daily intake of water now is the same as my daily intake of that blue liquid was 18 months ago. I still give myself a soda about twice a week (and it tastes even better now that I limit myself) but I lost 7 kg (15 lbs) in the following months. Then I stopped losing weight because I'm a super-picky eater and I hate vegetables, but I was much more comfortable at 106 kilograms (235 lbs) than I was at 113 kilograms. 6 moths ago, I made a move to balance out my bad eating habits. I joined the Army ROTC program at my university and let me tell you, I literally had to soak myself in blood, sweat and tears to get where I am today. I'm now 91 kilos (200 lbs), and I still have a ways to go (another semester of morning PT should do it), but I look like a healthy human being again. Anyone who last saw me 6 months ago can hardly believe my transition, and everyone is proud of me. If you want to lose weight, start by changing your eating/drinking habits and doing some exercise. The people telling you only 1/10 people successful return to a healthy weight are 9/10 who gave up. Being a part of that 1/10 feels better than anything else. Maybe all those people on tumblr who are depressed, whether they truly are or not, would all feel better if they went for a jog every now and again.
