Saskatoon reviewing bylaws for services like Airbnb (open house today)

When I purchased my house it was one of few houses in a field in evergreen. It was exciting to think where the neighbourhood would end up in a few years. Well a few years went by and you know what? Evergreen is turning into a pile of shit. Every god damn house has a rental suite and every other weekend the cops are on the street dealing with degenerate renters. Kloppenburg consists of yards with rocks instead of grass, five foot tall weeds and garbage blowing everywhere because landlords don't give a shit and neither do renters. Garbage day is always a mystery as to whether there will be a spot on the road for the can due to renter parking. Don't you dare leave your car doors open at night either or your you'll get robbed. So if you think having even shorter term renters will help the cause give your head a shake. I didn't drop 380 on a house to have to deal with wondering who the hell will be living next to me every other day. I can't imagine being a parent next to an air bnb. If you can't afford to buy a house without renters go back to work and grind it out a bit more. The rest of us shouldn't have to deal with your problem.
