The Satanic Temple Sues Texas Over Abortion Regulations It Argues Infringe On Members' Religious Beliefs

I’d honestly like to start a chapter in my area. There is nothing like this anywhere remotely close and probably never will be. Like, I’d probably have to drive damn near to the other side of the country to get physically involved in the church.

My religion is not represented and there is no place for the community to gather and practice our beliefs.

If anyone would legitimately donate enough to start a Southern US Satanic Temple, I will set up a kickstarter. Failing that, for not owning the name, Satanic Temple, I guess I’ll reach out to them and see what they have to say.

It pisses me off to no end that there is such a RAGING boner for Christianity (it’s called the Bible Belt for fuck’s sake) and absolutely NOTHING for alternative religions. And there are plenty of people these days who would support it. I’ve lived here my whole life and have met plenty of self-proclaimed Satanists, atheists, and even Wiccans. The “old time religion” of the region is slowly dying. Ever so slowly.

We need the Satanic Temple.
