I left Zalera. I don't think I could ever be convinced to come back. Economy is completely out of whack, on established servers T4 battle materia were a few thousand gil each, which was in line with how difficult they were to get. Zalera you could sell Crit 4s for like 60k for some reason, well after it had fallen to 3~6k on other servers. Needed melds? Shout for a few days to get them, sometimes get extorted if the only person of that class online wanted to charge you way too much for it. Raid food was super expensive for some reason, but you couldn't do the content that you'd want to use it for. Crafted gear was regularly selling for 3~4x as much as it does on other servers.

Hunts are always pulled early by this one guy, and you'll probably never clear anything harder than the current Extreme Primal (and you might not even do that if it's tough, it took me almost 7 weeks of trying to do it). No one is there, so there's no raid scene. No one experienced, but existing groups aren't interested in grooming their own subs and would rather complain or transfer than try to train replacements.

More people transfer to Leviathan from Zalera if you want some perspective. Unless you have all the crafters and gatherers at 60 and only want to craft high margin but slow moving items (because that described basically every item given the size of the community that would actually consider buying it and who could afford it). In which case I guess if you wanted to go wild and try to exploit a bunch of probably RMT'd gil out of the server you could do that.

You might find a nice FC and make some friends, but you can do that on any server.
