Saudi Arabia Sentences Poet to Death for Atheism

Religion in whole, no. I fully support people's rights to believe in what makes them feel okay when they go to bed at night.

What I would like to see is keeping it contained to their homes and churches. I live in south georgia. I may make a post in /r/atheism later but in the 40 or so miles from Tifton to Valdosta there are in the neighborhood of 30 church signs. Everything from bloody crosses to people in hell. It's sickening when your 4 year old asks "why is that man in the fire"?

Well, son....some people are just bad. And those people should be punished...for making signs of burning humans then putting them on a 14'x48' sign.

Religion sucks the common sense out of business.

Samantha Elauf sued Abercrombie and Fitch because she couldn't wear her head scarf "for religious reasons" (which isn't even in the fuckign koran...read your own fucking book, cunts). So a loose trasnlatoin of "dress conservative" gave enough leeway to get a victory. (if you don't know that there is a huge difference between a Hijab and a Burqa, check here

Jean Camara is suing/sued costco because he had to push carts. Well, the whole story is that he applied to be a cashier and got the job. Then complained when he had to check out pork. So..they put him on cart duty, refusing his request to work in the electronics department. He felt above pushing carts (which payed the same) so...he sued. Do you see how fucked this is? He applied to do a job, then sued when they didn't give him a mini-promotion after refusing to do the job he applied for and agreed to do.

Laurel and Rachel were awarded $135,000 total in damages because they sued a cake shop who refused to make a cake based on religious reasons.

Muslim truck drivers sue (alert, this is a heavily slanted article..so just the facts) Two men were fired after posing a stink about having to drive a delivery truck with alcohol on board. They were awarded $240,000.

This is why religion needs to stay the fuck inside. As soon as it mixes with people without its same belief, shit happens and common sense goes out the window. If Melissa wanted to be a conservative dresser....maybe not apply to a store that...is..for thin people, almost see through shirts, and tight form-fitting pants. Don't want to touch meat? then don't apply to a grocery store that sells those things. how the fuck doesn't this make sense? I'm 6'5"....I'd NEVER apply to operate a mini train for kids and it wold be idiotic of me to sue if they don't accommodate a conductors seat that can fit me. Just...take religion and put it indoors, it doesn't play well with others.
