I saw a quote that said Christmas magic is 90% woman's work that goes unrecognised.

This is so true. My dad passed away this year, and I planned a Christmas trip with my spouse and my mom.

I did absolutely everything from the bookings, and the tours, the meals. Even once everything was booked, I needed to talk to the front desk, the Uber drivers, the guides. I bought presents for his whole family and mine. You'd think he'd try to make things easier for me this year, at least this year, but nope. His response is no one is making you do anything.

And now that we're back he's refusing to unpack because he's tired. So I'm unpacking and putting away and washing all our stuff. If I didn't, the suitcases would be here for months if not forever.
