I sold a Nike NFL Jersey a while ago and immediately after receiving the payment, I got an email saying 'eBay has automatically removed the listing due to it being an unauthorized item'. I was unable to ship it, yet the funds never got refunded to the buyer. It instead spent 2 weeks pending in my paypal until it eventually got added to my balance. The guy never messaged me or took any action, and I didn't either, so I guess he must've received the same email and simply took the L. I still had to pay the final value fees even though the transaction in reality was cancelled. I didn't care only because I got lucky and was able to keep the money ;]
