Has anyone come across any recent scams, especially with gift cards? We had an incident at my store and these guys were very persuasive and ended up getting a lot of money. We got back all of the money that was on the lowes gift cards thankfully, but they still got away with a couple hundred from non-lowes gift cards. Has anyone been tricked? How did you handle it? I know you're supposed to check ID and get a manager, but these guys are professional con artists and manage to get around that somehow by smooth talking their way through it. And why don't we call the police if we know we've been scammed? We have their faces on camera. Can't the police put out a warrant or something?
