I don't know, I feel like Disney did try here. When was the film supposed to come out again? I feel like it was repeatedly stated they were not going to release the film on streaming, and that they wanted it to be a tent-pole, theater release. But it just didn't work out that way. They have a slate of movies and TV shows that were queued up and waiting for this to release.

Were they going to make it an October release? February 2022? That would have hurt it as well, this is a "summer" movie for sure. I just feel like Disney actually did try to avoid releasing this movie as a streaming film, but it just didn't work out that way. People are still scared to go to a theater.
