Now Wentz is clearly a really damn good QB. But he's going to miss games. He's missed games every damn year since he was in college.

I think it's insane to pay a QB like that $32m APY and give $107m guaranteed when he still has 2 years left on his contract. It's a bad decision. But the NFL is high risk high reward I suppose.

i would have let him play out at least the next 2 seasons before extending him. Yeah you'd probably pay more if he was good and healthy but at least you're not committing an insane amount of cash to what has effectively been damaged goods that has never played in the playoffs
