Schumer on shutdown: 'Trump the dealmaker sat on sidelines'

Like giving “an inch” on the wall?

This was a win for children... and Trump and the GOP.

What is the war you are fighting? The war isn’t just DACA and CHIP, it’s for the rule of law and our country.

Think of middle America now... what are they seeing? They’ll see Trumps tweets, maybe watch Hannity, and they’ll be emboldened to vote for the GOP in 2018 and Trump in 2020. Clearly he’s doing a good job.

This is everything wrong with Democrats. It was said long before Trump came along that they have no spine, can’t control messaging, cave to extremists. This situation is just a perfect example of all of this.

I am disgusted that Schumer offered the wall, and will not buy the new narrative that “maybe it’s not that bad of an idea, everyone likes border security” (literally words out of Chris Wallace’s mouth tonight).

So meanwhile Trump voters and uninformed moderates are now more likely to see the GOP in a positive light, while liberals like me are disgusted with my own party.

Is this how you win a war?
