Science AMA Series: I'm Beau Lotto, a neuroscientist who specializes in the biology and psychology of perception. I just wrote a book called DEVIATE about the science of seeing differently and am here to talk about it. AMA!

Don't waste your time thinking he will answer any questions regarding psychoactive substances. It's bad for his "PR". Why is so much a taboo in our society to even speak about these indigenous substances that a neuroscientist won't even touch the topic with any sort of credence? What is your reason that you can't answer any of the questions in that regard? You're a neuroscientist, a trained and disciplined expert who studies perception right? Then what is happening to our perception of reality when the neurons of the neural networks open up whole brain communications?

You either can't answer these questions with confidence or you'd rather not admit that you don't know or just don't care. Me personally, I know you won't answer any of my questions and I just think you're only here for PR or to sell us something. Sorry for being so brash but I've had enough of reddits stupid experts that come here, answer some easy questions then end with "don't forget to buy my book!"
