Science Finally Says We Should Never Work 40 Hours A Week

To be blunt, you are so out of touch that you're talking out of your arse.

You just listed a bunch of things that people don't need to survive, while blatantly neglect I've the fact people need those things to live. You literally said people don't need to start families. What the hell kind of quality of life are you expecting people to have?

The answer to the income disparity crisis isn't "make sure you have absolutely nothing."

There is nowhere in the world where your only expenses are rent and food. Travel, utilities, clothing, medical care, education, insurance, are all necessities. Not to mention the costs of maintaining a social life - which is absolutely necessary.

Furthermore the costs of living (rents, food, etc) are rising far faster than wages, which in most places have been stagnating.

The only people able to live on part time wages are people whose expenses are being covered by others. I think you need to not be claiming any insights when its abundantly clear that if you currently or ever have survived on part time wages you did so either by dumb luck or because someone else foot your bills. If you just so happen to have a high waged job, congrats. But you're an insignificant minority in that and most people will never have that luck.
