In the scientific era we live in, is Science replacing religion as a belief?

Though I don't fully understand your question and your explanation, I do appreciate the fact that you brought up the topic, as it is very interesting to me! I will try to provide my thoughts below to contribute to the discussion...

As a scientist, I can say that, in general, what you are stating is not true. Science is still compatible with spirituality (and certain non-fundamentalist religions). If anything, science provides most of us with a deeper appreciation of the natural beauty and aesthetics of nature. Most people who are interested in science are in it because they appreciate the beauty of the universe. To quote Heisenberg:

“The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you.”

I think, here, Heisenberg is stating that, at the deepest level, we have no clue what actually takes place. The context is that this is during the time when quantum mechanics was a new topic in theoretical physics, and, at the time, people were surprised that, at the quantum level, everything is probabilistic. In other words, science cannot explain everything and will never explain certain aspects of religion and spirituality, including patheism.

To expand upon my thoughts, and in response to your conclusion:

In conclusion, the in-depth experience of Science is rapidly becoming a rational approach to the beauty of Nature and the Universe, and most important: the unknown.

The scientific method has rightfully superseded religious introspection has the method of inquiry and approach to unknown problems because it has proven itself more reliable and more useful. Because the scientific approach (by formulating falsifiable hypotheses and theories and then empirically (dis)proving them via reproducible data), can create mutually agreed upon methods to determine "truth", it enables us further our mutually agreed upon understanding of the universe. Religion and spirituality, on the other hand, do not have fundamental and mutually agreed upon methods to determine "truth." As such, science and religions operate in two different domains - science being capable of discovering "universal" truths of nature, and religion being capable of forming personal "truths" and belief systems.
