Scientists of Reddit, what misconceptions do us laymen often have that drive you crazy?

That you don’t need a health card for your appointments & that you can call & get one same day like you’re the sole person we’ve been waiting to book.

You do & you’re not. You likely also want something dumb & meaningless & after 30 patients and 10 hrs hr the doc wants to go home so he is not gonna stay an hr later for you thanks. Also, you don’t renew your health card I don’t care about your bill. Don’t cry to me. Your problem. They give you free care and all they ask is once every 4 years you update your fucking info. If you can’t be bothered to do that then pay for the fees. I am not OHIP and can’t even actually reverse it. Call them.
