Scientists who actively their practice religion.

Science isn't what most people think it is. It's not about "seeking" or "knowledge". It's about exploration and discovery and new discoveries often blow one's mind because what's discovered is so brilliant and so not things that a human being can take credit for.

Most scientists are either deist or agnostic. And I'm not talking about the techs and lab assistants that claim the title "scientist" to make themselves seem superior to others, riding the coat tails of actual scientists - claiming intellectual superiority to the masses by association - or atheists who just spew outdated science as if it were truth in an effort to sound intellectual but actual scientists.

It's like politicians. Those who want "it" aren't qualified and those who are qualified don't want it. With science "name droppers" and actual scientists, it's more a matter of those who want admiration and respect not deserving it and those deserving of it not wanting it.
