Scope of Trump's falsehoods unprecedented for a modern presidential candidate

Since this sub is so interested in the truth, lets take a look at this article is from the Clinton endorsing LA Times. Keep in mind this is a newspaper owned by a spinoff of Tribune media, a conglomerate owned by large Wall Street companies like Oaktree and JP Morgan Chase.

Ironically the very two sentences are a lie. The first sentence claims that Trump is lying about "taxes in the United States are higher than almost anywhere else on earth". The second links to a page in the CIA factbook that list % of GDP that tax revenues make up for each countries government. Yet this isn't what Trump was talking about at all, he was specifically talking about CORPORATE tax rates, which the US has the 3rd highest in the world. So they purposefully took a sentence out of context in order to set up a strawman and then tear it down. I wonder why they would do this, do the Wall Street companies that own this newspaper have some sort of vested interest in seeing Hillary as president?
