Instead of money being an issue. There isn't a transplant organ available.

I heard a story about a man in need of a heart transplant. He was not going get one for a long time. He had been born with a rare heart condition. Through his life his heart had gone through ups and downs. Then he got to a point where his heart wouldn't last. After waiting for a while he got the good news. He was not aloud to meet the family that the heart came from, or meet his surgeon. These rules apply to everyone. The fear is that the surgeon shouldn't have the person they're trying to save on their mind, though even afterwards they don't meet. The surgery was about fifty/fifty, but it was a success. Afterwards someone from the family contacted him. They didn't meet in person, he said that that would've been inappropriate, and he wouldn't have been able to do it. The family member sent an email telling him who the heart came from. Their young son had committed suicide, and his heart was used. The man that got the heart was in his early twenties. To this day, his body could reject the heart. And if he were to need another transplant, the chances of success would be even riskier.
