Used to run around with maul and it was fun for a while, but most people read it easily nowadays. Run into anyone remotely experienced and it's like running into a brick wall. Carrying games is all about momentum and you just can't keep it going with a maul anymore.

1/1/1 with war axe and bloodlust is my go to. War axe is a fantastic weapon for winning 1vX fights: lightning fast ripostes on the weapon turns a 3v1 into a fight in your favor if you know what you're doing. Light armor or no armor gives you the footwork mobility you need to position yourself correctly against multiple enemies. Makes me prefer running into groups of enemies by myself.
