have you had many issues with arrangements lasting just the one first month due to discovering lack of chemistry or lack of commitment to the SR? or does your courting process successfully identify potential partners that have worked out for the longer term?

I've gone as little as 2 ppm dates before converting to allowance and had a SR last 5+ months that I would never have considered an allowance due to inconsistency and flakiness. Had another 2yr SR where I offered allowance, but she rejected it, because she didn't want to feel obligated to meet on a regular basis, even though I never made any such requirement (imo, allowance is for when people have stopped keeping score).
