Seahawks Depth Chart , UFA,RFA,ERFA

My take shamelessly copying above:

UFA

  • Russell Okung OT: I'm going against the grain here and think Okung should be the top priority this offseason as long as he's willing to play ball. He's representing himself so there won't be any drama with his free agency. A big money team like Chicago or Jacksonville could make a move, but here I'm saying that Okung settles down with a deal back in Seattle somewhere around 4yr/$34m to lock down LT and hopefully keep the false starts down.
  • Brandon Mebane DT: I suspect he'll happily wait it out in free agency if no one puts up close to his current salary. The FO probably wants to bring him back at the same price as Rubin but it's not going to happen.

  • Ahtyba Rubin DT: Without Mebane and low outside interest, Rubin will get a backloaded 2-yr deal similar to McDaniel last year

  • Jermaine Kearse WR/ST: One of the worst starting WRs in the league, but he has a predisposition to big plays and Tate etc have proven numbers in SEA don't translate to every NFL offense. Another team overpays and will regret it.

  • Bruce Irvin OLB: He'll have a bigger impact on another team, and I think he knows it. Even though he's undersized, it always seems like some FO out there will pay for first round pedigree. To me, he seems like a natural complement to Mack in Oakland and should they be interested they holdthe cards.

  • Jon Ryan P: I don't see the team being particularly interested in making a change here. Comp him just below Haush$ and move on to harder decisions.

  • Tarvaris Jackson QB: It's obvious that no other team will guarantee a vet salary for TJack. But even though he hasn't had a meaningful drive since 2011, he's absolutely still a Seahawk. He's an easy pick up for another year, but competition could push him out in preseason.

  • Michael Morgan OLB: I hated this dude so much back in 2012/2013. Penalties at the worst possible times and obviously couldn't handle himself against starters. Now, I see him as a key re-sign. He's not a good player objectively, but he's obviously matured and has become an crucial part of the team due to his versatility. A product of the Carol system from the beginning, he can play all three linebacker spots and DE LEO in addition to nearly all special teams formations. I don't foresee much FA interest and I'm sure he knows he'd be out of the league if Carol didn't commit to him. He'll basically be the future Heath Farwall, plus he can rush the passer in a pinch.

  • Fred Jackson RB: Fredex will be invited back if he wants to compete for the spot. He had to deal with some injuries this past season but took it like a champ and did all that was expected of him in his role. The Seahawks will definitely be getting another RB in the draft, or a priority UDFA, and Marshawn might want to work something out to stay another year. So while at the end there may not be room on the final 53, Jackson is an easy pickup for the start of training camp.

  • Will Tukuafu FB: Even if Coleman's legal situation fades away, he's still only up to the ghost roster to start training camp. Might as well bring Truckafoo back to complete since no other team is going to pay more than the current minimum..

  • Demarcus Dobbs DE: The team needs to fill in the defensive line in the draft. He'll start training camp on the ghost roster.

  • Lemuel Jeanpierre C: Same as OP. Lem is back only if the Seahawks hit a bump during the draft, priority UDFA period.

  • Chase Coffman TE: Same as OP. Much higher ceiling than Helfet, and with Graham and Willson there's no room to invest further in TE. Let's see what he's got.

  • Anthony McCoy TE: He can upgrade to ghost roster if he can be healthy two weeks in a row.

  • Bryce Brown RB: Nothing interesting here. Ghost roster at best.

  • J.R. Sweezy OG: Let him walk assuming Glowinski is seen as a starter and a few other things line up right. Don't like paying him top FA money when he is so average and I am not seeing him develop and get better. Use that money elsewhere.

  • Jeremy Lane CB/ST: My suspicion/hope is that the FA market won't make a big move for Lane, and he'll back back on a prove-it type deal with something around 1yr/$4.25 and a real chance to start unless Simon or a rookie lights it up in a big way. It will be much harder to see him go next year.

RFA

  • Ricardo Lockette WR/ST: Will the flux at the backend of the DB corps and finding a replacement for Kearse, there really isn't much room for Lockette. If he comes back, it's not from a tender.

  • Christine Michael RB: 100% Rawls/Lynch need a backup that knows the system. Let's see if he can do what he was drafted for and still protect the ball.

  • Nick Moody OLB: Who?

  • Patrick Lewis C: Re-sign.

  • Alvin Bailey OG/OT: Bailey isn't a good player, but the team trusts him to start enough in a pinch and he can play four positions on the O-Line. No doubt something can be worked out where he's not payed a full tender.

  • Derrick Coleman FB: Ghost roster at best.

  • Jesse Williams DT: Interior D-Line needs to be a huge focus this offseason. It'd be a great story to see him to come in and make an impact, but Williams presence at this point seems to be a distraction we can't afford.

ERFA

  • A.J. Francis DT: Who?

  • Deshawn Shead S/DB: Dude can play every position in the backfield. One of the worst graded starting corners by PFF. But as the saying goes: what do you call a doctor that graduated last in his class? Doctor. Pay the man.

  • Steven Terrell S/DB: No risk on ERFA. Who cares.

  • Mohammed Seisay CB: No risk on ERFA. Who cares.

  • Marcus Burley CB: Oh, if only this guy was active for SBXLIV. Too cheap to risk letting go.

  • Cooper Helfet TE: I suspect the team will let him compete to start, but I suspect pactice squad/ghost roster status by preseason week 3.

  • Eric Pinkins LB/S: Let's see if he can Deone Buccannon. If he can't let's cut our losses.
