Point is: they don't even need to "hardcarry", but just them popping off is usually taking a slot for a "real" player that maybe wouldn't popp off in the first place.

You don't need to be a "serious" or "real" smurf to ruin matches.

Like: I simply stopped caring about the game, I currenlty just OTP the heroes of my choice and am enjoying myself. If we lose games, so be it, I simply do not care...that's pretty much the same thing smurfs do.

Either they are "serious" and are ruining the game for one team, or they simply don't care and then ruin the game for the other team.

The point here is: they don't play on their main and this is the very reason they are manipulating the outcome of the game in one way or another.
