Season 3 Episode 14 | "Everybody Dies in the End " | Discussion

Thanks for your reply! I think your strength with z Nation is that the way people act, react, and behave is actually more "realistic" than TWD despite the slapstick comedy stigma it gets.

For example, for us normies who never experienced a zombie apocalypse before, many people imagine it's all gloom and doom. But the Gun Show episode hit the right spot. After some initial shock, people get over the fear and seek entertainment, do business, etc. Also, humans tend to use (black?) humor to overcome their fears, not unlike what the Military does. It's weirder if survivors DONT crack a joke here and then once theyve become accustomed to things (looking at you TWD).

A lot of people hated the Election episode in season 3, but I think it was on the ball. Giving people entertainment with twerking showgirls is a pretty darn realistic way to get people to open up in in such harsh (but monotone) lives.

That said, I think all you guys need is a decent asian male character with good character development and you will get even more popular, even positively explode in the social media among those frustrated with how traditional conservative media handles things.

The thing is, it's not a problem if no Asians are portrayed, but if there are ONLY asian females, and they're sexed up by ONLY white men, then this creates a negative stereotype against asian men being undesirable. This is why TWD made a huge impact among the Asian-american community. I will continue to love znation regardless of what kind of twisted storyline it follows since I've always loved znation, but all I can tell you is that after season 3, in it's current state, it can be seen as a real disappointment for asian-american fans. I hope you take this into consideration.
