Remember that (although it is super important) this is still only one tool in your toolkit. There’s heaps of others you can use while you wait for this to get booked. I know this stuff is really personal and people often have really unique symptoms and coping mechanisms, so I’ll just talk about what I know: my toolkit. It has other things in it including: Taking a day off work (for extreme moments) and using it to fill up my energy bank (often just napping and/or binge watching a show), mandating daily cardio, cooking meals at home with lots of different vegetables, taking a long bath, making sure I’m reaching out to friends (this is one I find really hard), or just crying it out with my best friend (my partner). Also, journaling, colouring and playing with make up :)
