Seattle Mayor Says U.S. Agents Have Demobilized and Left the City

I am going to risk the downvotes but I really want to point something out in good faith: while I don't like government overreach as much as the next guy, "the left" (however you want to word it) has been demonizing, screaming at, "cancelling", and belittling the other side loudly, for ages now. Some of it was justified, much of it perhaps not. But imagine getting locked into a room by someone, and in that room your roommate is constantly crapping on you. One day, while the attacks are especially bad, the staff opens the door and starts savagely beating your roommate. You don't agree with what the staff is doing at all, and you hate the staff member's guts, but would you really want to risk life and limb saving (or supporting) your roommate from the staff for them to immediately start shitting on you once the staff leaves? After what you've been through? Whether you agree or not, this is what many people feel. I don't particularly like how the police act in my state / city. I, however, will not march with or support the people who hate my guts, attack the issues I support, and will turn around and vote against me. (Largely single issue 2A voter..I have my interests)
